Creativity and Individuality

My friends and family would say that I am a creative individual, as well as unique. I dress my own way, I do things how I want and I don't let the negative comments get to me, most of the time.

The other day at school I was walking to my lock and a girl had said indirectly to me " I don't see why people would dress differently, like you aren't going to start a f**king fashion statement." This brought me to think about how people's attitudes towards individuality and personal interest is more negative. One can not simply express themselves or dress how they want. Our styles, attitudes and actions are more than ever affected by media and our peers. I dress differently because I embrace my different side, I'm not afraid to go against everyone else's fashion. I would rather look different and be my own person rather than follow some fashion trends and be the same as everyone else. There is no characteristic when fashion trends are followed, sure there will be some people who try to make it their own, but it ends up looking like everyone else. When I go buy clothes and accessories I try think about how I can Ange-fy it, and if I can maybe do something different with it. The thing about being different though, you need to have the confidence to do it, because there can be people who won't accept it. Being different isn't bad, even if there are people who don't accept your individuality. You just need to remember that you are you, and there isn't anyone who is like you. Look for people who love you individuality and accept there love, ignore those who try to push you down. When you are down there will be someone at some point in your life that will help you back up again :)

Well I would believe this is all I have to write about right now. I do apologize for the lack of a steady posting time. I have been busy with grad stuff and just being lazy. crazy life I live ;)
